PROTECTIVE CUSTODY - JUVENILES

After responding to a report of underage persons drinking by the water, officers found 4 young people (16 year old male, 17 year old female, 16 year old male) and Rutger Hopkins, 20, of Henniker drinking beer while fishing. They were taken into custody and later released to their parents.

SIMPLE ASSAULT, RESISTING ARREST - TONY HARRIS

Tony Harris, 28, of Hillsboro was arrested after police received a call from a subject who was concerned that her children were inside a residence with an intoxicated subject. It was later determined that Mr. Harris had forcibly removed the caller from the residence. Mr. Harris was later arrested for Simple Assault and Resisting Arrest when he stated to initially struggle with officers who were trying to cuff him.

DISOBEYING AN OFFICER, ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD, DRIVING AFTER REVOCATION, NEGLIGENT DRIVING - JAMES HOCK

James Hock, 44, of Hillsboro was operating a vehicle that Officer Parsons attempted to stop. Mr. Hock refused to stop his vehicle and a pursuit was initiated. Mr. Hock finally stopped at his residence. He was arrested. During the pursuit there was a 12 year old child in the vehicle. Mr. Hock was processed and transported to Valley Street to await a hearing.

AGGRAVATED DWI, POSSESSION OF DRUGS, SUSPENDED REGISTRATION - MELISSA TOCZKO

Melissa Toczko, 31, of Claremont, went by Officer Parsons on Old Henniker Road and then suddenly pulled over. Officer Parsons went to check on the vehicle and had suspicions that the operator was impaired. Ms. Toczko submitted to field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested. Her 4 year old daughter was in the vehicle at the time and was taken home by her father. Ms. Toczko had prescription pills that did not belong to her, as well as bath salts.

William Rowell Jr, 40, of Manchester was stopped for a lane violation and defective brakelight. After speaking with Mr. Rowell, he was asked to submit to field sobriety tests, which he did. He was subsequently arrested for DWI.

DWI/DRUGS IN A MOTOR VEHICLE/OPEN CONTAINER - CONNOR IRELAND

Connor Ireland, 24, of Hillsboro was stopped for multiple lane violations and speed. Mr. Ireland was asked to submit to field sobriety tests, which he did. He was subsequently arrested for DWI. He also had a marijuana pipe and an open container in the vehicle. He accepted a breath test at the PD and blew over the legal limit.

Dara Scalisi, 22, of Hillsboro was stopped for speed and yellow line violations. During the stop it was determined that she had been drinking and was asked to perform field sobriety tests. A marijuana pipe was located in the vehicle. She was subsequently arrested for DWI and Transporting Drugs in a Motor Vehicle.

CARRY/SELL WEAPONS - LEVI LAPLANT

Levi Laplant, 20, of Deering when arrested when officers responded to a report of subjects possibly dumping alcohol from a vehicle. Responding officers encountered Mr. Laplant and a passenger of the vehicle at Beard Brook Road. Deering Chief Pushee noted the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and a subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a freshly smoked roach. Also, a brass knuckle handled knife was located in the vehicle during the search. The defendent was arrested for possessing the brass knuckle weapon and transported to the station. He was processed and released on bail pending court.
