The parents of a 17 year old, of Hillsboro, were served a petition for theft for their child after an investigation into the theft of $100 from a cash register.

NEGLIGENT DRIVING - AARON STEVENS

Aaron Stevens, 18, of Deering was operating his vehicle heading south on 2nd NH Turnpike when he went into the opposing lane and almost hit a snowbank. Officer Normand initiated a motor vehicle stop and when asked, Mr. Stevens stated he did not notice he had done so. He had two passengers in the vehicle and the front passenger stated this is just how he drives and he did notice Mr. Stevens go into the other lane. He was given a hand summons for negligent driving and given a court summons.

ELECTRONIC BENCH WARRANT, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED DRUG/NARCOTIC - ROBERT LUCIER

Robert Lucier, 20, of Boscawen was arrested on an electronic bench warrant during a traffic stop. Further investigation lead to finding that he possessed marijuana as well as a pipe containing marijuana.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED DRUG - CHRISTOPHER WAMSLEY

Christopher Wamsley, 23, of Goshen was the passenger of a vehicle that was stopped for a broken windshield. During the stop there were indicators of possible drug use. After a consent search, some marijuana and prescription pills were located in the car. Mr. Wamsley also had marijuana on him, so he was placed under arrest and transported to the PD for processing.

Jason Carey, 21, of Newport was the driver of a vehicle that was stopped for a broken windshield. During the stop there were indicators of possible drug use. FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE - TRENT WHIPPLE

Trent Whipple, 22, of Hillsboro was arrested at his home in Hillsboro for a warrant for a probation violation out of the state of Maine. He was placed into custody and transported to Hillsborough County Jail where he will await arraignment and the state of Maine to extradite him.

William Lillis, 43, of Sandy Hook, Connecticut was stopped at Shaw's Supermarket for having an uninspected vehicle. It was discovered that his license was suspended and he was issued a must appear summons.

Joseph Frazier, 36, of Hillsboro was stopped for having no tail lights on West Main Street. Mr. Frazier's license was suspended out of the state of Massachusetts. He was released on a hand summons with a court date.

CRIMINAL MISCHEIF, BREACH OF BAIL CONDITIONS - GARY VALLEY

Gary Valley, 27, of Washington was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail from the Hillsboro Police Department. Mr Valley's girlfriend picked him up from the HPD lobby. It was reported to Sgt. Philibert by Mr. Valley's girlfriend that just after entering her car Mr. Valley vandalized the interior of her car as well as grabbed the steering wheel while they were travelling down the road. Mr. Valley then fled on foot. Antrim Police Officer Brian Lord got into a small motor vehicle pursuit with a few hours later. It was discovered that the operator was Mr. Valley. he was arrested by both Antrim and Hillsboro Police. Sgt Philibert charged him with Criminal Mischief and Breach of Bail Conditions.

Gary Valley, 27, of Washington was stopped on Rt 31 in Hillsboro for questioning after getting into an altercation in Washington. As a result of the stop Sgt Philibert arrested Mr. Valley for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Narcotics.

CRIMINAL THREATENING, RECKLESS CONDUCT X2, RESISTING ARREST, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - PAUL WOLFE

Paul Wolfe, 32, of Hillsboro had gotten into a verbal argument with his fiancee regarding their daughter. At one point he threw a chair into the wall during the argument. He left the residence to cool down and when he returned he loaded a shotgun. He threatened his fiancee with the shotgun and told her to leave without their child. He placed the daughter in danger as well as his fiancee. Detective McGillicuddy was able to speak with Mr. Wolfe over the phone and talked him out of the residence with the daughter and no shotgun. While being placed under arrest, Mr. Wolfe started to fight with the Officers trying to handcuff him.

DRIVING AFTER SUSPENSION - MATTHEW VERGO

Matthew Vergo, 43, of Wilton was the operator of a disabled vehicle that Officer McAllister stopped to assist. After running the license plate number it was determined that Mr. Vergo was under suspension for Default of Court Summons. Mr. Vergo was issued a summons for Operating After Suspension.
