PROMOTIONS
Officer Ian Donovan has been promoted to
Sergeant.
Sgt. Darren Remillard has been promoted
to Lieutenant.
Lt. David Roarick has been promoted to
Captain.
Officer Bob Mcallister has been assigned to
Prosecution.
NEW PERSONNEL
Officer Nick Hodgen filled the
vacant slot left by Officer Chris Day.
Amy Collins and Cathy Mulliner have been hired as part-time Dispatchers.
DISPATCH NEWS
The
Dispatch Center has undergone a recent transformation. The Dispatch
stations brought over from the old Police Station have been replaced.
The stations were out-dated and not equipped to handle the new
computer based electronics systems. The new stations are ergonomically
correct and offer the dispatcher the choice of sitting or standing
while dispatching. The new stations also allow for easier access for
maintaining the electronics that they house.
OFFICER NEWS
Officers
Mark Philibert and Anne Lessard have been assigned as the new School
Resource Officers for the 2007-2008 school year. The two have
completed School Resource Officer Training with NASRO (National
Association of School Resource Officers). Officer Philibert will be
the full-time SRO, with Officer Lessard filling in on a
part-time basis.
